Our amazing stay in Lausanne Palace, Switzerland
Lausanne Palace opened in 1915 and is located only 40 minutes outside of Geneva. Lausanne offers the excitement of a city combined with a charming natural setting, with a view overlooking Lake Léman and the surrounding mountains. Lausanne Palace, situated in the heart of the "Olympic Capital".
The friendly hotel staff go out of their way to make guests feel at home
and are happy to arrange just about anything for you, from taxis to guides to
tickets for boat trips. They also have wake up call if needed.
Accommodation
The hotel houses 140 rooms, including 44 suites.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a work desk, free WiFi, TV and a Nespresso machine as well as complementary drinks from the minibar. The beds could't be more confortable!

Food and drink
The Lausanne Palace has 4 restaurants, all of them with a different style and recognised both by visitors and locals in Lausanne.
The Brasserie Grand Chêne offers a different ambiance, displaying all of the hallmarks of a Parisian restaurant; green leather seats, waxed parquet floors, and copper accents set the tone. The Brasserie's menu includes classic French fare such as steak tartare, sole meunière, and Burgundy escargots.
For lighter cuisine, head to the restaurant Côté Jardin, where you can enjoy Mediterranean-style dishes and sit on the terrace during the summer months. This is also where breakfast is served, and is a calm, verdant space in the heart of the city. For a less European meal, take a seat at the Palace Sushi Zen. Their mouthwatering menu offers revisited Japanese cuisine.
To end the long list of restaurants, La Table D'Edgard is the restaurante Michelin-starred!
Not only the Palace has 4 restaurants, it also has 3 bars (Habana, LP'S and 1915)! It is actually like a small city inside Lausanne. You could stay there one week and not be bored by the Food & Drink options only within the hotel ;)
Our experience at Lausanne Palace was amazing, a truly 5 star service. We highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Lausanne or Geneva since they are near!
